Champlain Motor Inn ( New Management)

The person answering my phone call was terribly rude. He was impatient, trying to hang up my call as quickly as possible. He simply refused to answer any of my questions or give any accommodation by telling me repetitively “there is nothing I could do”. The worst part is, I have to tell him that I’m a customer needing service, so please reconsider your attitude when he was just trying to cut the conversation and hang up. It is extremely uncommon for me to give a negative review. With all due respect, one star is what they deserve after a few phone calls.

Later today they called me back in response to my request. This time the person on phone was making great efforts in communication, as well as accommodating my requests. Therefore I’ve edited the review from 1 star to 3 star.

Best value on my 10,000 km New Bruswick to Vancouver & back trip. Clean & newly renovated. For less than a normal room, there is a kitchenette!

Great friendly owners, very accommodating and they treat you like family. I've been staying here during the week for work over the past couple of months. Barbecue's and food truck on site. Rooms are always clean, comfortable and include tv, wifi, coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Never any issues with having family come visit and stay with me for a bit, including bringing pets. Make sure to inquire about pets in advance so they can place you in a pet friendly room. Overall amazing place to stay!

Clean, cozy room with helpful staff. Convenient location, affordable rates. Satisfactory amenities. Pleasant experience overall, suitable for budget-conscious travelers. Would consider staying again.
