  This is a jewel in the midst of the bustling City of Barrie. Lots of green space, but the arboretum is so beautiful. Trees are tagged, I have dedicated a tree in the arboretum to my husband and many others are also dedicated trees. So many varieties to admire, all that are hardy for our climate. Take a leisurely stroll through the arboretum, there are benches and a pavillion along the route. A great place to meditatae on the beauty around us.

  My first time at this park (today) was appropriately sunny and dale-y. Brought my XC skis for poking around (come on, more snow!) and did some sledding and woods-walking with the family. Nice big park; I look forward to coming back.

  Absolutely beautiful place for a stroll regardless of the season. Great place to bring the dogs/kids, close to the playground and I really enjoy the plaques that display the name of the tree in front of most of the trees. Very much looking forward to seeing it again in the Spring, it's so beautiful.
  Though I have not personally seen it done, it would be the perfect spot for wedding pictures for those getting married in the area.
  All in all, if I'm not going for a walk along the waterfront, I'm coming here.
  Oh, almost forgot another amazing feature: the FruitShare forest created by the city. All gathered fruit goes to those in need, what a fantastic idea.
  There's also a Labyrinth.
  Does it get any better? I think not.

  Beautiful park and a very nicely maintained garden over to the side of the park to explore and take photos. So much open space with a playground for the kids, covered area if it rains and enough parking and street parking that we've never had a problem finding a spot. The path down the big hill to the dog park is lovely and there's some neat trails to explore albeit short. Nestled in a beautiful older part of town.

  Awesome wide open park in the city. Great trails for walking pets and relaxing. Has neat covered area at north end of the park with a butterfly garden and some historical fun facts. Lots of hiking trails with lots of sound buffer so you don't even heat the city. Playground at south end is wonderful for kids and has wide open spaces to run a dog. Enjoy!
