  I switched from Shoppers Drug Mart to Alcona Guardian Pharmacy because I never have to wait for hours or days to get our meds filled, the customer service is better and the cost to fill them is cheaper. I do not have benefits as we are self employed so they give us a discount on the filling fee. About $6.00 less then Shoppers.

  Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff; they are a big help to my elderly parents, always having their blister packs premade. The store is very small and they do not carry a lot of non-pharmacy items, it really is just a drug store, but I guess that is the point.
  
  My only complaint is they charge slightly more for prescriptions than other stores, my benefits cover 100% for prescriptions, but when I fill my prescriptions here, there is always a $1.00 charge.
