Happy Go Fishing Charters & Bait Shop

This was one of the funnest experiences of my life.
I wanted to take my father out for a memorable day of fishing and we got exactly that.
Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and an all around great guy.
We caught so many monster lake trout that I lost count.
I will be returning for many more trips on the lake to catch more monsters !

Cal was an absolutely treat to fish with! We had 8 family members at the lake and used Cal for 4 days, rotating family members throughout the week, 4 at a time. He was especially accommodating to our niece, who is in a wheelchair, making sure she was comfortable, able to move around in her chair and most importantly, catching a big lake trout! Cal was low key, easy going, fun to chat with, and made sure that we all had a great time and got the most out of our money. We highly recommend him for a fishing guide and will definitely use him again when we return to Lake Simcoe.

Spent an amazing afternoon with Cal and my sons. Will absolutely do again with Cal next year. He is professional, courteous and was so great with my boys. Cal-thanks again !

I found Happy Go Fishing on a Google search. I'm sometimes reluctant in taking reviews fully seriously with some of the stuff on line. I must say the review was bang on and I'm glad I booked with Kal. We started our morning off in search of Lakers and got a beauty. Just over 6 pounds. Than on to Northern Pike for some fun. I ended my day with a whopping 11 pound Northern. Kal thanks so much for a fantastic Canada day weekend. We'll definitely see you over the summer. You're new found friend Cole.

Had an absolute blast with Cal! He's an amazing guide and I'll be back once a year for sure. He's great with kids and was insanely accommodating to my family and I. What a trip it was. Also he's awesome to chat. If you went to a different charter company, you made a big mistake. Go here, trust me.
