Thai Plate Restaurant

The appetizer is good and freshly make. The menu does not have full description of the platter. I needed to ask the server but she wasn't friendly and unwilling to tell me what it is. But we still order and it's surprisingly good. Noodles and pad Thai are okay.

My friend and I are long time visitors to the Thai plate. You can expect to experience warm hospitality, great food at very good prices. Going back is like visiting family and receiving a warm welcome and terrific food! We have used their take out since the pandemic started, and it has always been great!

Had an early dinner here recently and it was mostly very good. They do offer dine-in, contrary to the Google info. Even though we dined in, all food was served in plastic takeout containers and paper plates and plastic cutlery. The order was taken quickly and the soup and mango salad were both excellent. Timing was a bit of an issue as the mango salad was brought out first and then everything else (appetizers and main course) all at once. We liked the mango salad so much we got one to take home, however it was not as good as the one we had to dine in, so consistency may be an issue here.

Must visit while in Orillia!

Food is delicious. Staff is friendly and always smiling.
