The Champlain Waterfront Hotel, an Ascend Hotel Collection

Great experience staying here, rooms are cozy and classy even though they are small in size, decent price, friendly service and a scrumptious morning breakfast.

We stayed at the Champlain Hotel while a close family member was in the local hospital. Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is conveniently located close to all sorts of restaurants and shops.The rooms have all been renovated with really intelligent design. The bathrooms are state of the art. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Why not visit Orillia? Close to Toronto. Very artsy city, and home to Mariposa. Various galleries, and of course, the lake is just down the street. The hotel, though having small sleeping rooms, was super. Staff was great. Less than 5 Minutes from the lake. Nice looking place...

We enjoyed our stay on Christmas Eve. The staff are very accommodating and the hotel is immaculate. This is a boutique hotel so the rooms are a little smaller but perfect for my husband and I with the huge king size bed in it. We will definitely stay here again.

This place was nice but, they have some sort of very strongly perfumed cleaner or air freshener that they doused the place with. In the rooms and hallways. I've never stayed at a hotel that does this. It was overwhelming because of how strong it was. Maybe it was to mask another smell that they have issues with? We both woke up with headaches.
Very minimal parking. Typically you'll have to park a few lots over then walk back to the hotel unless you can snag a place at the back that is shared with the restaurant guests.
