(November 25, 2020, 1:37 am)The Fifty Acre Garden is a little gem of family-run farm, offering deliciously organic produce. Their subscription plan made things simple, and having a choice of pickup locations was helpful: in Orillia, which was convenient, or out at their farm stand there, which meant getting out to enjoy the beautiful location and oh, picking up a few more beautiful veggies and a bouquet of just-picked flowers for my table. Everyone there was so pleasant, too. Some of their produce goes to local restaurants, and on top of that, even though they are themselves a small business, they gave so much to those in need: the Sharing Place received a remarkably significant amount of produce from them. Mmm-hmmm, I'm already looking forward to next season!
