Swift Canoe & Kayak - Georgian Bay

I bought a used Saranac 15'. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Their outlet in Waubushene is easily accessible.

Update: I am am pleased to report that after posting my first review I was swiftly (haha) contacted by a representative with several options to rectify the situation. Of course there is still a disconnect in the communication given my experience and how the staff are handling situations like this. In any event, I will definitely consider renting with this outfitter again.

Initial review: Very disappointing. I called in July to reserve a kayak for a back country camping trip in September but was told to they weren't booking that far out. I called in mid August but this time I was told I couldn't reserve a kayak for a two day trip but not to worry and tocall a few days before my trip and they would have something available. You can guess what happened when I called a THIRD time and was told they had NO KAYAKS for rent.

My to go place for canoe rental. Good quality canoe. Nice people. A bit pricy.
Now with Covid they are added charges to paddles and lifejacket.
Sad but understandable. All business are increasing their fees.

Booking was extremely straightforward and easy. Staff was extremely helpful over the phone as well as in person. This was the first time for me tying a canoe on to the top of my car and the staff there was more than happy to explain the process and help me ensure that I am capable of doing it correctly. my son and I went canoeing and camping at the Massassauga Provincial Park and Swift canoe Georgian Bay was the perfect spot to pick up a canoe on route to the park.
