British Cuisine Fish & Chips

Portions are getting smaller. Prices go up it seems, weekly. I guess if you're the only place in town you can get away with it. It would be nice if they gave a discount to locals as we are who support them all winter.

They have an amazing daily special of Haddock and Fries for $11.49 I believe. Fish is always cooked to perfection and taste is so wonderful. The place in Wasaga to get the best fish and chips.

I eat here quite often and the food is excellent. Always friendly greeting with a smile.

All in all nothing special. Coleslaw was watery mush, the halibut was really dry for halibut. For the money just get the haddock. Shrimps were frozen and fried so cant really go wrong. Portions were large and the batter crisp and tasty. One tiny package of store bought tartar for a massive fish portion which they charge for extra (seriously?). You will find better food for relatively cheaper prices at almost any roadside mom and pop restaurant.
Everybody seems to think this is excellent so maybe I just came on a bad day ????‍♂️

Just went to this restaurant for a take out this afternoon for the 1st time and I have to agree with everyone else.
Excellent food and great portions! Quick service and they were busy with tables. Only 2 servers but it was enough to look after everyone.
I will recommend this place and i will come back again soon!!
