(February 20, 2019, 3:29 pm)Great place to stop, food is ok. Ice cream is excellent. Took a photo with the mascots Hungry bear and the Blueberry hound kids loved them. The souvenir shop (The French river trading post) is big and has lots of unique gifts. Family always stops in on the way north. Owner is acomadating clients needs. Staff is pleasant.

(October 1, 2018, 8:06 pm)A landmark on Highway 69 for at least 50 years, the restaurant is part of the French River Trading Post complex. Great food, friendly staff, reasonable prices and lots of free parking. They have space for oversize vehicles, RV's and trailers. Wheelchair accessible, rustic country atmosphere and amazing ice cream and baked goods. There's even a dog walking area. I only hope the expansion of the highway doesn't bypass it. Worth a stop on the way north or south.
