Taylor Creek Dog Park

This is a great place to visit in all seasons for short or long hikes, dog walks, or even strolls with children. The scenery is probably best in fall, but summer and spring are nice too. Dogs love this park and while there's a formal off leash area at the west end of the park, I have seen lots of folks letting their dogs run free on and off the paths. Don't tell the city.

The paths are generally good for all strollers. There are lots of bridges to cross, benches to sit at along the way, and several access points to make the visit easy for your crew, however large.

If you're not walking a dog or with children, others are jogging, cycling, and otherwise enjoying the paths. I have never seen this park crowded, which is really nice.

Lovely piece of nature amidst the busyness of the city.

Picknick and play areas. Paved cycling trail and unpaved single tracks. Perfect for families, children and strollers.

Beautiful quiet area, very peaceful. Smells quite strong at times due to HydroOne sewage or pipes.

Unleashed dog park from 6am to 10pm. There are also nice trails for hiking and biking from the area, seems most people go there as a starting point for hikes.

There is also a small camp site with a fire pit and benched set up around.

Basic dog park. It is a good sized rectangle area with a pea gravel surface. The surroundings are a bit of a let down. Taylor Creek park is a beautiful walking park that meanders along beside the Taylor Massey ravine. However, the dog park is in the middle of a parking lot at the end of an access road. Taylor Creek Park used to be all off leash so many park users still walk off leash or just use the trails with their dogs on leash. Any time I have been to this dog park it has been empty while off leash dogs run around just down the hill on the trails.
