This place is great. This has been one of the most intense cardio sessions that I've ever had. The coach (Ricardo) is extremely knowledgeable with a great lineage. A world class MMA trainer from Switzerland that has trained with the likes of Fedor Emelianenko. Ricardo is a very personable person that makes you want to learn more and get better. For those that want to do MMA but don't want to deal with the roughness of the sport, I recommend trying out the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes, if you want an intense work out and learn a thing or two from a world class trainer, then try out the Sambo and be prepared to be exhausted!

Coach Ricardo is a fantastic coach. I've been to many martial arts gyms throughout the years (all across the GTA) and none of them come close to the level of attention to detail that I receive here. Not only that, but everyone here is so welcoming, regardless of your level of fitness. I was a little nervous going back into MMA as I took a pretty long hiatus from martial arts, but I was so surprised at how supportive and friendly everyone is.

It's fun, friendly, and great exercise, can't ask for more!

Riccardo is a great coach, who has honed his skills in Europe, Russia and Canada, but here you will learn not only the technique but also the philosophy behind martial arts. So come to do a lot of hard work on your body and mind and to live a great human experience of learning, respect, endurance and friendship.

Coach Riccardo at BJJ Battalion is one of the best coaches I have been fortunate enough to train with. He really cares about his students, very encouraging and motivating, he makes training something so difficult to be fun. You will learn so much from him and have fun. He is very respectful of his students and especially female students. He makes begginers feel very welcome. Thank you Riccardo for taking time to teach me.
