Blyth Academy Downsview Park is absolutely without a doubt an incredible school to place your child in. Mr. Hurley was so welcoming and accommodating right from the start to get my children in during the school year. He was able to transfer all documents and get the kids in and on their way within days. The school itself is nurturing and helpful in all respects. Within no time my child was already doing work in the grade above. The one on one attention students get in this school is incredible. My children’s confidence grew, their skills grew and they feel safe and accepted in this school (unlike the nightmare of public school system that we always faced). Don’t think twice about placing your child/ren here. You will be happy you did so. We are absolutely thrilled that we moved our son from public school to Blyth for grade 6 - his confidence has skyrocketed as his teacher knows how/takes the time to leverage and showcase his individual skills and strengths. It also makes a big difference that he is with other high performing/like minded sports enthusiasts. The pre school skating and dry land skills have really strengthened his performance on the ice. Three of our children have been enrolled at Blyth Academy for the past two years. Small class sizes and engaged teachers combined with a challenging and supportive environment, have allowed each of our children to excel academically. Our kids are also very happy with the athletic development program. Blyth offers holistic athletic training which in addition to helping them achieve their athletic goals, focuses on the importance of nutrition and healthy living. We couldn’t be happier with the choice of Blyth Downsview for our family.

Blyth Academy Downsview Park has been an amazing experience for our son, Evan. Mr. Hurley, Principal and ALL of the staff have been so welcoming, helpful and professional with Evan. The school has been great for Evan academically and Evan also has the opportunity to use the great facilities which include a workout room and gym. The optional meal plan has also been a great choice. The healthy snacks, drinks and hot lunches are delicious and made fresh daily. Evan's overall experience has been very positive!

Wow! Lets start with that. As a parent I completely regret "NOT" making the switch to Blyth years ago! The level of teaching and support my son is receiving is by far exceptional. Coming out of the public system we have seen a dramatic improvement in test and grades. His desire to learn and be part of the academic process has been dramatic to say the least. The teachers, students, trainers, guidance and principal have already made a profound impact on him as an individual in such a positive way. I can now see how the skills he's learning will translate to success in post secondary and life long. I highly recommend this school!
