I wanted to thank so much Dr. Vishal Patel for taking care of me at the NYGH! I was completely terrified to have the colonoscopy, which I have to repeat every 5 years due to my family history. Last time I had it done (at St. Michael’s Hospital with a different doctor), I woke up in the middle of the procedure in extreme pain, so I was very anxious to have it done again.
Dr. Patel was so understanding, professional and friendly! I did not feel a thing, went to sleep and woke up in a different room after everything was done. Explained everything to me, so I can understand. Patient and genuinely caring.
I definitely recommend Dr. Vishal Patel to everybody. Many, many thanks!
