My wife underwent safe chemo in the clinic. Its pretty expensive and if there is no visible improvement in say 6-9 infusions, its unlikely to help. This treatment has been stopped I heard due to restrictions placed on Dr Khan by College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. He is in the midst of an enquiry that restricts his activities. My wife underwent 13 infusions of Carboplatin with Mesna, which is what Safe Chemo is all about. It didnt help her except to the extent of reducing significantly the side effects of chemotherapy.
