Huge off-leash dog park with access to beaches. Picturesque views of Tommy Thompson Park and the Toronto Islands across the water. Parking can get a little crowded on the weekends, especially in the summer. Don't risk the ticket, as PEOs check frequently.
🏴 Flag as inappropriateAlthough its near the heart of the city this dog park also feels miles away from honking cars and busy city streets. The park is right by an airport with occasional take offs and landings. Great place for you dog to swim and enjoy the day
🏴 Flag as inappropriateExcellent off leash dog park. One of the largest (I believe) near the downtown core. Several beach access points, bush and tree area for furry friends to explore. The park is generally pretty clean and well maintained. My only complaints would be a lack of garbage/poop disposal bins throughout the park and the dusty pot-hole parking lot directly out front.
🏴 Flag as inappropriateThis is a great dog park - and the shoreline has been drastically improved recently.
One word of caution ... there are a few ducks and swans that hang out close to the shore, and if your dog is a real bird dog they may lure your dog out into the harbour. Some swans did that to my britney this morning and luckily he made it back but they went out very far towards the channel to the lake. If we go back I’ll need to use a long leash.
Beautiful park! My dogs were so happy! I felt comfortable with letting them off leash/ it felt safe. They played on the beach, but there is a nice tree canopy further back where you can sit. Would recommend and we'll be back!
