El Cheapo Movers

We hired El Cheapo for our recent move of a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom apartment. They were quick to respond and consistently friendly in our email contact, and helped us plan for the moving day very efficiently. On moving day, the team of three was hard-working, friendly and professional. The building management at our new apartment threw us some curveballs (moving truck was suddenly not allowed to park in the normal spot) but the El Cheapo team rolled with the punches. They disassembled and reassembled our bed for us as well when it gave us some trouble. The pricing was transparent so there were no surprises for us. I would definitely recommend El Cheapo!

I booked El Cheapo’s moving services for the morning of May 31st. The three movers who were assigned to my account were all friendly, funny, and professional. The whole team was eager to be effective and make the entire move as efficient as possible. The move was led by David and he did an amazing job keeping the team focused on getting the job done quickly and keeping everything being moved protected. The whole team was fantastic, and I feel very lucky to have had these 3 people assigned to my account!

Given my experience, El Cheapo is the PERFECT moving service for the city of Toronto. Their professional employees focus on getting the job done quickly/effectively and because of this the cost of my move was SIGNIFICANTLY less than I originally expected. Another great feature is if you pay your moving fee via e-Transfer, El Cheapo will apply a discount to your fee! I could not be happier with El Cheapo’s services!

Couldn't say more good things. I have a tiny doorway and ordered a couch that ended up being bigger than I thought. The movers got creative and figured out a way to get it into my apartment, all within the 1 hour minimum. They were friendly and professional, and I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

We used El Cheapo for our load in for our production of Death Meets Harlequin in Leslieville. We will definitely use them again for our upcoming Fringe Fest show! They were great - fast, friendly, professional. They offered us a discount for being a performing arts non-profit, so it was really affordable in our tight budget. Highly recommend.
