We enjoyed a lot the museum and especially the dinosaurs exhibition. My son is huge Jurassic Park fan and had amazing time in the museum. I personally also loved the architecture and the special exhibits.
Enjoyed the walk through the different time periods and the type of design during those times.
The Egypt area with the mummy was one of our personal favorite too.

The museum is quite big so allow few hours. You can easily spend the whole day there.

One of the most interesting, diverse and eclectic museums I've visited in the world. I was thoroughly impressed and plan to return again and again.

The permanent collection is something to behold, and certainly something one can take their time with perusing.

The ROM tends to bring in some really unique and mesmerizing exhibits on occasion that are utterly fascinating.

I highly recommend comfortable shoes as you'll want to spend a good chunk of time there!

    Check out my photographs.

I haven't tried a regular day yet, went for the Friday Night Live and it was an amazing experience. Amazing food and drinks and the museum is honestly incredible. Seeing the real dinosaur bones are surreal and all the artifacts from different countries. It's really incredible. Totally recommend for museums fans and Friday Night is awesome to go with friends and have some fun

This is a great place for kids to spend some time. There are far too many things to see for a single visit though. The Raptors are pretty cool. They have ample restrooms and places to sit. It can get pretty busy during the weekends but never unbearable.
As for the food, there is a cafe but you could eat outside and come back again. The cafe is good for a quick bite though. Overall a great place to spend some time with family.

We were surprised at how few people were attending this special exhibit. The materials and artifacts presented are certainly stunning. It was also interesting to see how much you can learn from the paintings done through their history. There are excellent descriptions of each paintings pointing out what to look for. There is also a section on women in the kingdom which provided lots of details of their lives. Overall, a great special exhibit not to be missed. Definitely worth visiting the ROM to see it.
