Toronto Public Library - Locke Branch

Nice library but too many mothers using the branch as a playground for their kids. Staff are very standoffish, hardly ever say good morning or good afternoon. Hardly go out of their way to help customers.

One of the better libraries in the city with quiet areas for reading. Conveniently beside Lawrence subway station as well

Super cozy place to read a book in a winter day. The newspaper section is like a living room.

I liked this library, good for studying or just spending time like me, ? take a few hours off work and take a break there sometimes, the bad thing is reading with lots of people talking nearby? but a tip I give look for a schedule that has fewer people like this, you will be able to have a good reading, because when it is crowded it is even difficult to control the staff and thus avoid listening to the staff's scraps !!! ???‍♂️

Nice building, conveniently located next to subway and starbucks. Its not huge but serves the purpose. Well organized, staff is extremely helpful. They have printer and scanner at this location.
