This is simply a wonderful shop on so many levels.

Chrissy has beautifully restrung some pearl bracelets for me adding sterling silver, and most recently restrung and hand knotted a Mala I had, adding her personal touch with the addition of some more silver stations, and a gorgeous Buddha I had purchased from the store.
I've also purchased some of the "finished" jewelry for sale - they have a beautiful selection!

Iguana beads is not just a "bead store" as the name might suggest.

Chrissy offers everything from healing crystals, smudging kits, finished jewelry (earrings, bracelets, rings, cufflinks, necklaces etc) and then of course a huge variety of items to make jewelry...wonderfully unusual curated items - lots of eye candy to delight, and many wonderful gift items.
As another post suggests...Chrissy and her mother are very thoughtful, patient and engaged with their clientele - they really care about their customers and providing a service well. This is not your average store by any means, and at a time when we all need kindness and calm, I urge you to visit.
Even if you're not into making your own jewelry - Iguana beads offers so much more!

Iguana has beautiful stone beads and findings. But what I found here that I don't find everywhere is a great selection of rare and unusual cut stones and cabochons. Best of all though, is the owner Crissy and her mom who run the shop and treat every visitor with such attentive service and interest in their work that it makes it worth the drive from waterloo. They are both super knowledgeable about their products and able to help you select the most appropriate materials for your project. I was a bit indecisive and they were so patient and helpful with me, Crissy even allowed me to shop a little bit after their closing time. The service was exceptional!

This is hands down my favourite store!! They have everything you could need, and they're super helpful. Prices are reasonable and their quality is high. The staff is wonderful and customer service is great.
