I took my (old) car in because only one window rolls down. As soon as they were done looking at it, they e-mailed me a complete run down of *every* single system in the car, not just the window. From the hole in my bumper, to the wacky windshield wiper, brakes, struts, etc. Everything was coded as either green (in good shape), yellow (may need attention) or red (needs to be fixed sooner rather than later). When I spoke on the phone with them, they gave me prices for each item that needed attention and helped me prioritize what needed to be done now and what could wait a little while longer. When two parts that I needed from the car manufacturer ended up being rather expensive, they found them at a wrecker for me at half the price. In every interaction, the staff were kind and helpful, but I felt no pressure at all from them to do the repairs. In the end, I've decided to pull my car off the road until I can get it repaired. But once I have a vehicle again, I will absolutely be using Essential Auto Service for any maintenance or repairs. They went above and beyond.

These guys looked over my old Saab when I thought I had two important items to fix. They found many more, made a detailed list of items that needed to be fixed and provided an estimate. We chatted and determined the cost of repair was more than the value of the car. They then charged me a nominal fee for the diagnosis. They could have done the work I asked them to do and collected the money. Their honesty and professionalism is very much appreciated. I will use there services again.

I went in for a safety and left with a great experience. They took pictures of my vehicles such as my brakes and tires and noted what was good and what needed attention, which I was really impressed with. It assures accountability so you feel like your not paying for something you don’t need. The employees were really nice and Rich, the owner, took time to have a second check of my vehicle and explain certain things about my vehicle, maintenance wise. I’ve been to many mechanics and definitely recommend Essential Auto if you want a reliable mechanic.

My first experience with the people at Essential Auto was certainly a positive one!
I booked a summer pkg.to be carried out on my vehicle and I am more than satisfied with the results.

The gentleman Jody was personable and most helpful in explaining what repairs were needed & how they would be dealt with in a professional manner.

I found this Auto Service to be efficient and honest in their work.
I will return in the future with confidence that any services will be completed with my satisfaction in mind. Thank You!

I bought a used 2011 Saab 9-5 Aero XWD V6 and discovered that though the body was in great shape, it needed a LOT of tlc, including, among other things, a universal joint and the inevitable timing chains. The Essential Auto team meticulously documented everything they found and walked me through each agonizing (for me) decision with honesty and professionalism. It's hard enough to find a garage that can properly change the fluids in a 9-5NG, let alone one that can deal with everything else. My car runs great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing work done on any car.
