Crabby Joe's Bar • Grill

In the past this location seemed to be lacking in management, tables not cleared in a timely manner, disinterested service, etc. We went back last week and it seems to have improved, or maybe it was just that we had a really good server. I like their new menu. It's quite extensive and prices are reasonable. They also have a $4 Molson Canadian pints special on Leaf game nights and that works for me.
On future visits I tried their steaks and they're great! And, very reasonably priced. The chicken fajitas are also fabulous.
If there is one thing that they could do better, it would be to be more attentive when you arrive and get a drink in your hand. I'm always surprised that someone seats you, then you seem to wait for someone to bother to come and offer you a beer.
I like their politically incorrect posters.

Great staff but food quality has gone down over last year. It's obvious the franchise owners at this location are cutting corners to increase profits. The cambridge location is miles ahead of this one. Amber, one of the regular bartenders is the only thing keeping our crew visiting on Friday afternoons. Friendly, personable, and funny to boot. The owners have a gem with that one.

We had Tina tonight as our waitress. She very obviously was feeling overwhelmed and is not fond of groups. While I acknowledge it can be difficult when its busy. Perhaps not saying " Well, I only have 2 hands!" in a snarky manner might affect your bottom line. We had to go and find a refill of our own drinks, after a lengthy wait.
The food was good when it came but one of our party sat with no dinner for 10 minutes before she asked and was told. "Oh I will check." It did come quickly then. The hostess that sat us was personable and friendly.
She certainly was happy to see the back of us as we were rushed out the door. Perhaps it was just a bad night or bad timing?

We are a group of anywhere from 28 to 32 people who show up every Tuesday evening at your restaurant. We are usually there for about 3 to 3 1/2 hours once a week. We also have Quincy as our server for our group every week. You can't get any better then him to take care of us. Quincy is very polite, friendly and all around great guy!! The rest of the staff is also great and friendly. We look forward to going there for the great food and amazing staff every week. Keep up the great service!! See you next week ????
