(March 16, 2018, 12:07 am)You enter the One Stop Laundry. It’s empty. There’s never any one here, but that doesn’t bother you. You walk by the vending machine. You need change. Should you buy a dryer sheet? You hear a creak from the dryers as a latched door opens. You machine is waiting for you. A noise makes you spin around, a bounce brand box of four dryer sheets in the vending machine. You never asked for this. A shadow slides in the corner of you eye and you stare, gapping as the washer selects cold wash, mixed colours. Delicate cycle. The One Stop Laundry. Our machines are waiting for you.
