  Service and quality of food was excellent. I would recommend this shawarma shop to everyone. Very friendly staff and they went above and beyond for myself and other customers. I will be back regularly.

  These folks are the real deal. They are super friendly and I love that they emphasize the traditional aspect instead of dumbing it down for us white folk. I would never call myself an expert on shawarma/falafel and the like but its always been one of my favourites. I will say, Shawarma G's food is one of the best in its category. Thanks guys, you brought something to the neighbourhood it needed! Keep up the good work...

  They just catered for our event and it was a great experience! They were so easy to work with, delivery of the delicious and warm food was perfectly on time. I highly recommend the Fatayer!

  Absolutely delicious! Great service every time. We usually get the falafel plate with rice and salad. One of our favourite spots for take out in Guelph! Highly recommend.

  My second time at Shawarma G and slightly disappointed. I had the lamb the first time and was blown away. The meat was unbelievably tasty. The rice was okay.
  Fast forward to last night I had the chicken. While it was cooked wonderfully, the fat content was high. As the gentleman cut it off the spit, the meat "wobbled" slightly. Wanted to ask that they put it on the grill for a few minutes to brown it up but I've only ever seen them use it for wraps.
  The rice was overly spicy, which takes away from the flavour of the chicken...which there was also very little. Also wished they used a better, more flavorful hot sauce.
  I love this establishment because of the story behind the owners...I just wish the food tasted as good as the atmosphere.
