BarVela Pizzeria & Mercato

Hands down the best and most authentic pizza on the island. The pizzas were overflowing with local fresh toppings and the crust was fluffy and tender. We also purchased the stuffed meatballs in sauce and can't say enough about them. BarVela is a definate "must stop" on your culinary tour of the island.

The pizza here is fantastic! I have tried all the popular pizza spots around the island and I can say with full confidence that this place by far is the best! It was perfectly cooked, fresh, and flavourful. Even if you’re not in the area, I think it’s well worth the drive to give it a try!

Grab a pie and enjoy it on site at one of the many outdoor picnic tables, or as a personal recommendation - take that pizza down to the lighthouse and enjoy your pizza oceanside.
