It disturbs me when someone tells only their side of the story but (nowadays) it crucifies the target..... to me it's a form of bullying in public. This too is not a large company (Kindred Spirits) and they deserve all the business they can get (especially considering how Amazon and internet shopping is stealing the very life and survival out of Main Street North American.

My business also is not large, and in a rural town. Yet whether at a trade gift show or over the phone, I've been treated with unusual thoughtfulness and honest by Kindred Spirits people. I cannot say the same for one particular Atlantic rep for a large Toronto wholesaler (by catalog and her recommendations saying they were good sellers, I bought stuff where even the wholesale price is higher than what I could get for retail.... more expensive and no better finished than cheap stuff you find at Walmart.

Everything we've bought (and they quickly shipped) from Kindred Spirits has sold exceedingly well. PEI isn't that large; if you live there and run a tiny business, shipping or deliver costs; so you should either go pick it up or have it delivered at YOUR expense, like the rest of us.

I personally could not be happier with Kindred Spirits; their service, attitude, integrity, accessibility.... all are superior to the big-city boys.
Next time Mr. Complainer, go to see them directly and first sit down, ask how things can be worked out regarding size of orders and delivery/pickup. There's no reason why I, who pays for my own shipping, should in essence pay for your "free delivery." With your attitude, you;ll stay tiny because that's what your thinking is.
