Avonlea Cottages

Location is great! It is quiet and intimate in the park. Did not have to see front desk at all, everything was set up in the room and ready when we arrived. Pool is clean and refreshing. There are fire pits, picnic tables and swings to use. The chickens are adorable. Lovely deck to sit on and enjoy sunrise and sunset. Close to all things green gables and a very short drive to cavendish beach. The cabin (we had a bachelor) was small and cozy, clean and well organized. The bathroom faucets (sink and shower) would definitely benefit from a filter to slow the speed of water. It felt like razor blades going into my body until I figured out how to use it. This is my only complaint about the place - a very quick and inexpensive fix that I hope they correct! Water gets hot and stays hot. Everyone was very nice when passing on the grounds. 100% would stay here again!

We loved our time here! We booked through their website, everything was very clear. When our ETA was after 8pm, I called and he just left the key in the cabin for us. The owners were around all day and are super friendly!
Our cabin was clean, it has a wonderful new deck we sat out on all the time. Plenty of kitchenware. A/C struggled, but it was uncharacteristically hot that weekend!! Hot water was hit or miss, but it was always at least warm enough.
Pool and hot tub were clean. Hot tub is older, jets aren't super strong, but that didn't stop us from relaxing in it!
Location is great for the music festival, we walked there everyday (1 km) and there is also a water park next door. Easy drive to other attractions, we took a nice scenic ride.
We are looking forward to returning if they hold the Sommo festival again!

Absolutely perfect! Our group had 2 luxury cottages and 1 deluxe. Cottages, grounds and pool are all very clean and well maintained. Walking distance to Cavendish attractions. Highly recommend!

Super clean ! Location is great to nearby amenities.
Super comfy bed and very spacious for a 1 bedroom.
Host were Super friendly and accommodating. We felt really welcomed. Would def recommend this place to others esp for kids .
