Very empty quiet little area. It’s very calming and open.

Great adventure and you can walk on the ocean floor as the ground isn't too high. You still have to climb a bit but nothing terribly difficult. Trails also are there to be able to site see. A lot of options for parking in different lots.
    Nice views 👌

Not a great place to visit in the winter. Everything is closed and you need to be prepared to walk in the snow. Was the road cleared, yes. Could we get to the light house? No. You might be able to hike it but given the time of day and the lack of info on how far it was, we decided not to chance it.

Would it be beautiful in the non snow months? I think it would but I would suggest skipping this spot in winter unless you have snow shoes.

Fantastic park. Everytime I come here, it's 100% empty. Rich in History and a nice light house for pics!

Very nice historical park about 20 min from Charlotte on PEI. Lots of historical facts regarding the Arcadian expulsion from the Island post France/England Treaty. Park laid out nicely with a Park office/info center, trails, archeological dig site (former British fort), native Canadian facts/wigwam. Site is highly recommended for historical educational purposes and general walking exercise. Staff at Park center very outgoing and informative.
