“Sites are wooded with a convenient light for hookups after dark. Owner is super helpful and really went out of his way to help with a tire issue we had, and was always available. Pool looked clean although we didn't use it. Very quiet. Location is near many amenities. Not super manicured which we don't mind. Just want to mention in case this is what you're looking for.”

“I stayed here during 2023 Cavendish Beach music festival. I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly, our site was big enough for three tents and two vehicles and the bathrooms were with-in very close distance to our site. The price was good and I had no problems rebooking for the next year. There was a large amount of security at all times so safety also wasn't an issue.”

“Water park is really cool for kids. I was surprised to see how big it was. Lots of fun playgrounds all over the grounds. Restaurant is decent. Sites and washrooms were clean. My only suggestion would be to offer a shuttle service or even a bike rental for the people who are in RVs to get to the beach or other attractions. My wife and walked to the beach with out 6 and 1.5 year Olds. It's not a super long walk but there are big hills and I'm options to explore more of the beautiful surrounds would be another great thing to offer.”

“We really enjoyed our three day stay. Bathrooms were clean. Better seating in shower for changing clothes would be nice. Small issue. Tent sites need elevated pad or similar. We were flooded in our tent. Also numbering of lots needs to be clearer. Overall was a great visit. Staff was very helpful and friendly.”

“If you are used to other National Park campgrounds in Canada or the states this might be a shock for you. First, the good - showers are very good. Ample room for dishes and covered areas when it rains. Very nice staff. The bad - it is SO crowded with other campers right on top of you. Gets a bit noisy and the recent storms have made it a pretty ugly spot. Do not expect too much.”

“If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, centrally located campground to park your RV while you explore Prince Edward Island, I would recommend Cymbria. We stayed here for 1 week in August of 2023 with our 39’ Fifth Wheel and we actually had room on our site once we were parked. This was partly because of the size of the sites, but also because they ask campers to park any additional vehicles in the overflow parking lot. Even though this was a very rainy year, our site had a beautiful lawn, we were able to walk around bear foot since they don’t allow rugs which would have damage the lawn. It was also nice to see a campground take interest in recycling, they even provided us with the bags to do so. I found the staff very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, I explained that I needed to make an adjustment to my booking and they were able to accommodate us easily. Being new to camping, we did have an issue with our camper after office hours, in less then 30 minutes, we received a call back and 2 staff members were on our site helping us with the problem. The staff work hard and care about the campground as well as the campers in it. If you greet the staff with a smile and respect, they will show the same to you.”

“This campground was perfect ! We originally booked in for 3 nights tenting and due to rain on the first night (and there thankfully being a free cabin) the owners upgraded us free of charge. The cabin was spacious with a Queen bed, a bunk bed, and futon (we were so thankful to have power also). The bathrooms were kept very clean for such a busy weekend, they sell ice and firewood which is always necessary for a weekend of camping. The staff were so nice and beyond helpful with any questions or requests. Will definitely recommend this campground and be staying here in the future ! Thank you for such a great stay”

“I loved my time at The Red Fox Campground. The camping spots were were perfect for hanging hammocks and shade. The location was central to lots of nice beaches and near the provincial park. The owners are super friendly. I love the fire pit area under the stars and you can even get a glimpse of the aurora borealis with a long exposure on your camera. I'll definitely be back here next time I want to have a little beach getaway. It was very easy for me to have my dog here.”

“A great family oriented campground with many seasonal campers but good spaces for travelers like us. Very friendly and 30 amp services and other connections work well. I would suggest you use your cellular for data though as the camp wifi is slow due to the remote area of this campground. We stayed here for 3 days in our 35' fifth wheel rig and had no issues with size. Very friendly owners and other campers. Be sure to view the 360 virtual tour of this location on Google Maps.”

“A *MUST* for any PEI trips! Beautiful solar powered, off-grid luxury cabins with full ammenities (rainfall showers, full kitchen in main cabin for use). It was such a unique stay. Two cabins perched on the hill have beautiful morning views and a great spot to enjoy diner in the evening. We strongly recommend to add the moutain biking experience with the stay as this was the highlight of our trip in on the island! All four of us had such a fun time biking through the red earth and challenged ourselves in a fun and safe environment. Mike was awesome to cater to all different levels in our group and in fact, two of us continued MB at our next destination at an intermediate+ level! We continued to use Mike's advice throughout (level pedal yes!!). Cannot wait to return to this PEI oasis and this time, bike for a few days! Thanks again!”

“We had no expectations as we literally booked one of the last place still available in PEI for our dates... and my god are we happy that we did! This location is just absolutely perfect! We had the #4 cottage and we LOVED it! It had everything that we needed, it was just cozy and so cute. The beautiful beach is 5 minutes away from the cottage (walking) and it is perfect for kids as there is just sand (no rocks), it takes a while before the water gets deeper and there is plenty of hermit crabs to observe! We absolutely loved our stay and Dave and Cora were great hosts!!”

“Argyle has been the best experience in our travels so far. We started in Ontario and have stayed in a few campgrounds. They were all good, but Argyle surpassed them all. Thank you Angela for all you did to make our stay great. The washrooms and showers were such a pleasant surprise, and the cost to use the washers and dryers were so reasonable. . I just wished you had a pool. Being so close to the ocean was a great experience. Thank you very much for everything , especially hooking us up with a lobster trap to take home. Thanks again from the McLellans”

“The views from this campground are amazing and the staff was nice, especially Ted. We stayed right at the start of the season so we were the only campers some days which was good because there is absolutely no privacy between sites. Washrooms were fine but showers in the lower bath house were right on the verge of cold at all times. When we asked if they could be turned up we were told the heater was broken. Showers in the upper bath house were hot but the women's had terrible pressure. Did one load of laundry here and it took two full dryer cycles to dry (was not overloaded) which meant it cost $9. If you like golf this place would probably have a lot more appeal, but besides the views we weren't that impressed and wouldn't stay again.”

“Oh my gosh what a little piece of paradise! The management is wonderful & kind; probably the nicest people you will ever meet! My almost three year old absolutely LOVED the park/kids area and also the pool. There is also mini golf and regular golf for adults. But the beach…! The beach is lovely, sandy & full of life. Wonderful views. Great paddling. The local “seasonal” campers are friendly as ever. The sites are nice and level. There’s open areas (near the golfing & park) as well as sites in the trees. We preferred to be in the open, near the park and all the activity. We had a blast and will absolutely come back! ~ Vancouver Island”
