The water is crystal clear and if you are in the right mood a temperature one could convince oneself is warm. It's the closest to Mexico you can get before your kids start freaking out in the backseat!

Amazing beach for families with kids.
There is a zipline for kids, basketball area, lifeguards, public toilet.
The only downside that it's not free if you are not from the area. For a family of five we paid 30$. Parking is free.
There is a park to stroll there, a stream and a bridge over there.

Nice beach, very busy on weekends thou. Has a park for kids to play and a small restaurant. Has another smaller beach attached when bigger beach is too full, you can go to that one right beside.
