Best Western Plus Gatineau-Ottawa

This was my six week home away from home during a work contract. Although the rooms are dated, they were always clean and well supplied. Comfy beds and pillows! The individual temperature control and sliding windows/screens were a big plus for me. The hotel location is fabulous; within walking distance of museums, the art gallery, parliament and byward market. Beautiful views from the even numbered rooms ( river side). The staff was wonderful, always with a ready smile. The onsite restaurant has a limited menu, but the food is good and wait staff stellar. There is no laundry onsite but there is a laundromat close by. Easy access to highways. Great accomodations, even for an extended stay!

Stayed here for five days. Room was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Elevators are a little slow but worked fine and were clean. I enjoyed several meals in the hotel restaurant. There is a convenience store right next door and several places to eat within a twenty minute walk. Also twenty mins away across the bridge is Parliament Hill.

The room is really nice and the king bed is fantastic the mattress is a high quality type

The deception is the restaurant, for the price I paid for my room the quality of the restaurant doesn’t balance with the price of the room
A lot of issues , poor service , too long to be served , the food quality is very standard nothing special even with the high price choices, sometimes I was serve by the guy that wash the dishes sorry buy he's not presentable for the customers... many issues
The hotel should reconsider to make a big change for their restaurant

This hotel is clean, efficient, economical and conveniently located. Staff have always been very accommodating. It is where I stay when I go to the Capitol region.

Front desk staff were super awesome. Rooms were not so super awesome... dated and dingy. We stayed at the gatineau double tree 2 weeks ago for a lot less $ and the rooms were beautiful.
