Honest service, doesn't oversell. Owner (John?) is pleasant to deal with, and flexible on times. Goes above and beyond. I asked him to replace the bushings on my leaf springs, and later learned it was a huge job for him to do, but he didn't charge me extra for that, and kept with the original quote.

It's a 1 or 2 man shop, not a huge operation. Kind of nice to be treated like a person. I once paid way too much at Garage Nelson down the road and got worse service AND had long wait times.

I recall a specific instance where I asked to have some work done and he replied, "Why? It's working, right?" From that point on I knew I'd found my mechanic. :-)

When I look for somewhere to have work done on my "baby", I look for honesty, middle-of-the road rates, and flexibility, and this guy meets all of these requirements.

I'm writing this review because I moved from Montréal and wish I could find a mechanic as good...
