the chainsaw safety course was decent, i have had more thorough ones in class and in the field, which honestly 100% are better for new operators. This course is fine for experienced operators but doesn't replace actual hands on experience/coaching by a skilled/fully trained operator/instructor. it covered a lot, but thought some things were too open ended, such as the course would say "SHOULD" use two hands or "Should" wear safety pants or something like that. not sure if rules change province to province, but PPE MUST ALWAYS be worn, 2 hands on the chainsaw at all times of operating. My other complaint is the image of a lumberjack guy holding a chainsaw while standing on logs and no ppe gear. couple other pictures showed guys with no helmets on, its a safety course and helmets need to be stressed to be worn 100%, so i would of chose better photos or got my own with ppl dressed the way they should be.
otherwise, course was fine, i took as i have one of my staff taking it, he has experience too, but i wouldn't send a new chainsaw person to this course as if just enough knowledge to be dangerous.

I found the training course went well. Our staff at work are now trained with WHMIS. I liked the breakdown of the areas covered. We are training our learning staff also, so they become aware of the hazardous goods they may work with when they become employed. Overall success with the training program Ty

Totally new to me taking an online course, from the time I investigated taking these two online courses till the time I finished both of them I appreciated how easy the process was. Course material was well laid out and module exams were on point with the material contained within the individual modules. Thank you for making a stressful time so easy to follow from start to finish.
