Le Bonne Entente

This is not a 5 star hotel. It’s a nice 4 star hotel.

Travel sites insist on branding it as a five star hotel, but there’s not a single aspect by which this hotel can be considered outstanding.

It’s not an iconic building located on a landmark; rooms are decent and clean, but nothing fancy; food and amenities are okay; service is just fine.

I’m not factoring in the location, 20 minutes away from old Quebec.

Great Hotel, very comfortable rooms and beds.
Feels like down south by the pool and Spa.
The place is clean and well staffed.

Just beware of additional fee at check out on top of the room rate, Resident Fee, Parking, Lodging taxes, it adds over 40% over room rate.

Overall great place and location, will come back!

Le Bonne Entente is the perfect getaway from Montreal! It's a self-contained oasis with all the amenities and class of a high-end property and all the fun of a resort. First, the staff have excellent personalities. That counts for so much. Next, the food and service are exceptional. The breakfast has lots of protein and fancy coffees.

Our room in the Urbania section was so chic--witness the leather lounger chair. And the bathrooms are spacious enough for two to operate independently. Spoiler alert: the walk-in shower has a heated wall panel with music! The gym was one of my personal treats. Wooden training equipment make it fun to workout somewhere different.

What's the highlight? The giant bed with feather duvet and pillows. NO wait--the towels were great, too....and the pool, and the 5-7.... Okay, I can't pick one highlight. My husband, a teacher, liked the peace and quiet in our room, where we didn't hear anyone next door or above. (That's his answer for the highlight)...I'm still torn between the food, the decor and the grounds....it's all above-and-beyond.
