La Paneterie Enrg Bakery

After having read most of the positive reviews, I couldn't wait to try out this place. Unfortunately, although I found the charming lady running the place very welcoming, I was very disappointed in the products I tried. The pizza has a strange texture like no other Italian pizza I've been used to. Lacking flavor and especially salt. I'm not even strong on salt! The taralli were more like bread sticks and not the authentic taralli texture. The bread buns were good, however, a little too 'bready' for my taste. Conclusion: I will not be re-visiting this place again. Sorry.

The tomato pizza is the best in chomedey. They have been in business since the 60's. The staff is helpful and super friendly.

When I was a kid, there was a bakery in my neighborhood in Montreal that made the best cold tomatoe pizza, and I could never find that great Italian taste again once I moved out of that neighborhood... Until I discovered these guys many years ago. On the first bite, I was brought back to my childhood!!😊 You don't find great tasting, quality pizza like that in grocery stores! You can see the chefs sometimes working in the kitchen, just the smell of everything they make, when you walk in that family ran bakery... For me, it's an Institution that bakery! Great job guys! I only put 5 stars because I couldn't put 10, it stops at 5!👍 Highly highly highly recommended!🙂

It’s owned by a lovely couple who are from Italy. Their cooking is beyond words. The pizza is the best cold pizza I’ve ate in my life. Their desserts are so soft and tender, so pure and made with attention. It’s amazing. It’s a place I’d recommend in a heartbeat.
