We attended a family wedding near La Macaza and needed somewhere close to stay. This place was perfect. The staff are uncomfortable about their skills with English, but we found them to be very easy to communicate with. As I told the woman we dealt with, "your English is much better than my French." So, they are uncomfortable with English, but they certainly know enough English to get by. Don't expect a fluent English person, but really, how much do you need to communicate with the front desk? You basically need to book a room, check in and ask simple clarification questions. We did all those things with no problems. The room was very clean. The motel is right near the road, but there is not much traffic on that road so it is very quiet. There is a front door and a back door on each room. The back door opens onto a very private area behind the motel that borders a small river. Each room has a barbeque and picnic table back there. I will definitely stay there again if I visit La Macaza in the future.

Que vous soyez seul ou en famille, c’est l’endroit pour se reposer. Le site est magique et plusieurs activités à proximité. La piste cyclable est juste derrière et possibilité de prendre de belles marches. Pour avoir essayé le motel et le chalet, je peux dire que les deux sont excellents. La propreté des lieux ainsi que l’aménagement sont impeccables. Les hôtes, Claude & Chantal sont accueillants et disponibles.

Very clean, new comfortable place to stay. Nice view of the river, and very quiet. We will come again!
