As a former student I can say that this is a good school. The teachers, for one, are incredible. Certain are strict and get things done while others are more fun and teach in a more entertaining matter. Personally, I feel that there should be an equal balance. Young people need to learn their place, and they can only do that win discipline. On the other hand, a student will not listen if they are not entertained, and most teachers do their part to make the experience as entertaining as possible. The teachers are dedicated and passionate about their jobs and genuinely care for their students. Many give up lunch hours and put in time and effort after school for extra curricular activities for the students. I am very grateful for my senior year teachers staying after school every Wednesday to practice the school play, when we did "Grease". Many of the students have younger siblings in school, so many of us return for family barbecues, plays, graduations, concerts and the annual Halloween party at the school for a chance to feel the nostalgia and say hello to their former teachers.

Additionally, as a smaller school, classes begin to feel like a family after 7 years of knowing. While dysfunctional and not without its quirks, these relationships stay into high school
