Parc John F.-Kennedy outdoor swimming pool

I don’t swim much these days but if I did I would probably try this pool out. Especially if I lived in the surrounding neighbourhood. It’s located in the JFK Park here in Outremont in Montreal. I’m not sure as to if it’s still in use or not.

Nowhere to sit.. come on.. at least rent us beach chairs.. no one wants to sit on concrete..

Good outdoor pool and excellent management by Sportmax. Unfortunately the City of Outremont Sports et loisirs and the council have cancelled the free adult swim (50 minutes on weekdays) again for the 2nd year in a row, prioritizing 8 hours of family swim 7 days a week. Fortunately, nearby Kent park pool and Jarry park pool still offer free lap swims. Kudos to CDN and Park Ex outdoor pools for continuing to offer free lap swimming to the public.

The swimming pool has been renovated in 2019, now evening's new and sparkling. Lovely personnel. Two lanes for swimming long distances (fast and slow), a big section for playing and learning, a springboard which kids adore! You can get swimming pool accessories should you need them. On weekdays, offers time for adults only (12.00-12.50) before general admission.
