Catena Farm

We highly recommend joining Catena Farm’s CSA membership! After meeting Chris and Jennie at a local farmer’s market, we decided to enrol in a full share basket for 2020, and it exceeded all of our expectations. They sustainably grow a diverse array of delicious produce and every week there were new surprises in our basket. They also take the time to keep you connected to the farm each week through their thoughtful newsletter, which includes descriptions of the produce, storage instructions, recipes, photos from the farm, and more. If you’re living in the Ottawa/Gatineau area, we highly recommended checking them out! :)

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our half-share CSA membership in 2019 and look forward to more farm fresh produce from Catena Farm this coming year! The every-other-weekly share was generous, plentiful with gorgeous produce staples which tasted fresh and flavourful, as well as additional delicious surprise treats like various interesting hot peppers and new-to-us greens. Chris and Jennie clearly take great pride in their offerings and deliberate methods, and offer a sustainable zero-waste model which clearly walks the walk! They are very lovely people, who grow with love, and you can certainly taste it in their produce. Check them out if you are in the OC613 or surrounding area!
