Marina De Ville De La Baie

Nice spot people are helpful and efficient!

Nice place to sleep with a small van. The view of the city is superb at night, and the view of the fjord is superb during the day. We did the Eucher trail to La Croix du Centennaire, a nice little walk that gives beautiful views of the Saguenay. Nice experience!

Nice place with a minimum of services (bathrooms, showers, park with BBQ grills? and the start of the Heucher hiking trail nearby). I will know more when I return next year. They can be reached on the VHF (channel 68) to request service in order to welcome you to the quay (on your return from navigation). The administrative managers of the marina also seem very friendly and efficient, the prices reasonable (although difficult to compare from one marina to another - what value is associated with a location?).

It is a marina where there are mainly sailboats. There is a draining service for your boat's skeptical tank and a gas station nearby (at the Ville La Baie wharf where the cruise ships are also moored).

For $5 a night, it is also possible to spend the night at this last wharf for members of the Marina (located further north in Baie de l'Anse à Benjamin). Staying moored at this wharf rather than at the marina can be interesting if you receive guests who want to eat in town and/or attend the shows offered on site in the summer.

Beautiful spot with nice trail and clay beach. We went to have a picnic on the green, where there are many tables. It looked inviting but there was dog/cat poop spread everywhere!, as if it was used for fertilizer. It was so gross we had to leave.
