We spent a night in the campground and loved how clean and tidy it was. We found a lovely spot among the trees with a fire pit and table. It had been pouring for the last couple of days so the little remaining firewood was soggy. Off to the local gas station for a dry bundle and on no time we were cooking up hot dogs. What is it about wood cooked hot dogs that makes them so appealing?

On the way out the next day we found the one thing we need to complain about. The dump station is on the grass with no gravel. And the drain protrudes out of the ground about 8 inches (200mm). I had to kneel down in the swampy grass to open the drains. No fun!.
Personally I don’t like trying to make a liquid flow uphill. So a couple of trucks of gravel would have raised the vehicle above the drain thus keeping one out of the swamp and allowing nature to drain the tanks.
Hopefully see this improvement next time we come back.
