Ben was a great helped and had amazing customer service skills!

The service was great in that I received the help I needed when I wanted it but the space I wanted when I wanted it as well. The salesman was very helpful but he said something that actually unnerved me. He offered to come in on his day off in order to sell me some furniture. At first, this seems like either he is the most eager/engaged employee who must really believe in his product and really wants to make sure I walk away with the couch I deserve or, the furniture business pays so bad that this guy can’t take a day off.

I thought to myself...but then why he not just have my name on file then and I can come back when I’m ready to buy the couch and he can get his commission? Then it hit me that he fears another employee would steal his sale and commission if he wasn’t there to make sure he got it.

After all, he should get it as he spent the hour with me measuring and debating what luxury fabrics best suit the abode of a colour blind fashion impaired male from the Xenial generation. so in that context it should be a slam dunk that he should naturally get the commission right? Nope, turns out I wouldn’t even be asked if anyone else helped me or even how I knew exactly what I wanted in returnIng to the store. So no....there will be no couch for me on this fine day.
