Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Love Popeyes chicken, especially the spicy version. The chicken is always very juicy and the coating is crispy and crunchy. Their gravy is unique, is made with real chicken and pairs well with a side of fries. I havent gone back to the other quite famous chicken place since.

It is a chain with consistent quality. Good chicken pieces and chicken sandwiches with great choices in sides - i like the Cajun Gravy, Rice and Beans and Cajun fries. People say they enjoy the biscuits but I think they are just okay. It is all pretty basic food but it's prepared well on a consistent basis that will satisfy a craving for fried chicken.

If I was able to give them more than 5 stars I would! Today was the first time I stopped in and I wasn't disappointed! The chicken was tender, not greasy and had a very awesome flavor. I had the Cajun fries, and someone who was with me had the mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy, which was awesome! Best part of the meal was the buttermilk biscuit which melts in your mouth. Prompt service and my order was made up in no time. Popeyes Louisiana Chicken has won me over big time!

I went here on Black Friday around noon maybe 11 and then I got some chicken for me and my father. You got a chicken sandwich while I got quarter pound of popcorn chicken meal and a Cajun poutine. It was good but it came so fast that it seemed like it was just sitting around for a long time under heat lamps. There was only one other customer in there at the time so it was kind of odd that it was so empty near lunch time on a Friday. However I enjoyed my dining experience at this Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen establishment. :-)
