Blue Heron Rooms and Glamping

Nice little place on the Island.

A wonderful and welcoming place! The common rooms were beautifully decorated with a homey feel. We stayed in the pelican room which was spacious and full of natural light. The bed was very comfortable and the private bathroom was clean and convenient. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a home away from home.

We recently stayed at Blue Heron with other family and rented the entire home. It was the perfect place for an idyllic staycation on the waterfront with sunset views! The home was perfect for our small family reunion...a very charming home, gorgeous location and a short drive to restaurants, cafes and groceries. The house maintains its old charm with all the modern comforts. We especially enjoyed the private balconies facing the water in each room, especially with a glass of wine while watching the local fauna (deer and rabbits) make appearances at dusk! We highly recommend Blue Heron and plan to stay here again on future visits to the island!

This historic B&B is out of a storybook with its artistic decor, charming guest rooms, and stunning views. The sweet family that runs it offers a small self serve breakfast that is perfect for the price. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We will most certainly stay again on our next visit.

We have stayed at the Blue Heron B&B several times and loved every stay! This adorable B&B is right on the water. It really is a great location, very near to the ferry dock, and close to downtown but far enough to be quieter. We will stay again, and have recommended it to many friends. This island is a gem.
