Good, easy hike. Been here a few times. Good for the entire family, plus dogs! It's a loop trail, plus a few side branch off the main path trail, all well marked. Into geo-caching? You might find a treat along the path. Remember to bring something to offer

Nice trail to get outdoors on. Didn't do the long loop, maybe next time we go. The short loop is still fun to go for a walk on.

An easily accessible 2 or 4 or 9 miles depending on what loops you take or if you go to the Alger Alp or not.

Wonderful views. Steep switchback but worth it for the easy part around the lake, several benches make enjoying the sounds and sights easy. Saw goats, dogs abd horses. My kids all enjoyed and did not find it too exhausting. Short on parking in the lot but additional along the road.
