  Greenacres Memorial Park is a beautiful cemetery in Ferndale, Washington with large trees for climbing and paths to bike/run. It's beautiful and set up well!

  Death is a scary and tragic reality of life. It is in our hope that our loved ones can be laid to rest with dignity and compassion and that when it is our time to transition, we too will be given the same respect. The staff at Greenacres provided excellent care in all of our needs. Not only were they empathetic to our situation, they showed humanity and grace as we made difficult decisions. Greenacres is a beautiful space to celebrate one's life, one that we have used sine the 1940's. When seeking out guidance for such a delicate time, I recommend using Moles as they are knowledgeable and understanding of the pain we feel when we say goodbye to those we love.

  Typically Memorial Day Weekend is amazing at Greenacres. This year I found it disappointing. First when I went to locate my dad's flag on Saturday.....have to work Sunday and Monday so would be unable to go, they were not yet up. This was disappointing that they were placed on Friday
  
  Squeezed in time in Sunday to look for his flag. The letters for placement were very haphazard. We all know T is next to W. W is by K.....very haphazard. The little markers were inside hedges so not at all visible from roads as people searched for the one they needed.
  
  Unable to attend ceremony on Monday. Pray this is more organized than the flags.
  
  Typically this is amazing, and very humbling. Pray it returns to this status next Memorial Day.

  Stopped by to find a grave of a relative and after at least 15 minutes of searching through files, the staff were able to locate.
  Awesome attitude and superb service.

  Brian was wonderful and so helpful with the green burial. He helped with paperwork and made the small graveside service very sweet and personal. I loved the green burial option and the emphasis on conservation was exactly what my father would have wanted.
