St George Arms

We've began going to the Arms for as long as it's been open. And in all that time we never had a less than excellent meals or service. On our most recent visit we were told by the owner that a group of junior hockey players and their families had just ordered and there could be a 35 or 45 min wait for food. As we were in no hurry we ordered a couple of drinks and before we knew it our meals arrived.
This was due to the great kitchen and wait staff. As usual both our meals were excellent as well as the service. If your looking for a great meal this is the place.

Our first visit here, and it was quite good. Old time pub feel, very casual atmosphere and staff were very good. Mark (an owner I believe) took care of us as well as another waitress. It was quite a full house when we went.
I ordered the bangers and mash which came with a thick slice of roasted squash. The meal was very good.

We definitely will be returning to try other items from the extensive menu.

Certainly recommend this great little restaurant.

Situated in an 1850's building with current on-taps! Good spot to refresh after an afternoon drive getting apples and cider. Beef dip and corned beef sandwiches with brews hit the spot.

Myself along with my immediate family attended the Annual St George Apple Festival. This guaint little village was awash with a great size of party people, taking in the various vendors and exhibitions. After walking about for several hours we decided to eat and we all chose to try out the St George Arms. Great choice as the food was delicious and drinks cold and refreshing. The decor was like being back in England just a great English Pub. Try it out if you're ever in St George.

Great restaurant and Irish pub! Excellent menu choices, homemade soups and entrees, daily specials. Been coming here for years. Friendly efficient staff, excellent service! Nice rustic feel and atmosphere. The proprietors, Bob and Mark, are always very welcoming and personable! Great patio with nice view, overlooking a garden area. Centrally located on the main street, in the quaint village of St. George. Parking available right out front, and a parking lot across the street with ample parking. Took mom there last night to celebrate her 83rd birthday. Her favorite place to go, and favorite dish is the homemade butter chicken. Best ever! Spend an evening here, you won't be disappointed!
