“This past Sunday as I was on my way to Brantford, I decided to stop into The Krib and try it out. I had been hearing a lot of good things about it and wanted to see first hand what all the buzz was about. When I walked in the door to my pleasant surprise, they had karaoke. I later found out it was their 1 year anniversary celebration. I found a table, sat down and within less than a minute a server was there asking me what I wanted to drink. She was very pleasant and personable and she told me all about the anniversary and their "weekend specials". The decor was very pleasing to the eye and the place was immaculately clean...even the bathrooms were spotless. I was thoroughly impressed. I decided to try their waffles (one of their weekend specials) and "oh my goodness" was it ever amazing - best waffle I have ever had. Then, if my first visit wasn't impressive enough at this point, the Manager came by, asked me how everything was, talked to me about the anniversary and how they hand make everything from scratch. It's not very often a Manager takes that kind of time out to make sure the customer feels at home. All I can say is I was extremely impressed and I will definitely be back. You gotta try this restaurant.”

“Went here with my family on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy, as expected. We were able to sit outside while we waited and the hostess came out to call us in:) Cool ambiance. Waitress was promptly at our table for drinks and then food orders. We all got burgers and they were delicious! Fries were great too. I devoured my entire plate. Definitely recommend.”

“Our first visit here, and it was quite good. Old time pub feel, very casual atmosphere and staff were very good. Mark (an owner I believe) took care of us as well as another waitress. It was quite a full house when we went. I ordered the bangers and mash which came with a thick slice of roasted squash. The meal was very good. We definitely will be returning to try other items from the extensive menu. Certainly recommend this great little restaurant.”

You can tell how much thought, care and passion is put into every delicious dish. We actually enjoyed it far more than Langdon Hall (no offense meant), but this is a true tea house experience which I highly recommend and am looking forward to visiting again!”

“This very fresh redfish was served with cilantro, lime, olive, squash curry, chips. At first, I thought potato chips seemed out of place with a ceviche kinda dish, but it worked! Added such a great crunch factor to a delicious dish. 5 stars! Roasted Sweet Potatoes with currant-onion preserve, capers, pecan, spicy chevre. This was a pretty big portion for the price! Loved how the tanginess of the goat cheese complemented the crunch of the pecans and soft sweet potatoes. Yum, such a great side! 5 stars!”
