They serve a salad with the best house dressing I've ever had...they will not (i've tried) disclose any one ingredient of the recipe. It's reasonably priced, and the servers make it a special experience. The one (small) complaint I have, is, their bread has gotten progressively worse. That's it, though.”

“We’ve been to this location a few times over the years and always had ok service. We prefer local restaurants but in a whim we decided to eat here. We were greeted by a lady who was nice but also was unsure if we could sit outside on the patio but she took us out there anyway. Our waiter came out and took our drink order and soon after our dinner order. He was very attentive and asked all the right questions and was very clear when explaining or offering us options. He returned a little while later with our dinner and let us know the baked potato I wanted was unavailable but he replaced it with fries. He asked if he could offer us something to make up for this, so we agreed that would be nice. He also brought us plenty of chalet sauce which was amazing. To make a long story short, he gave us the best service we ever had, and the whole experience was extremely positive. I’ve had similar situations before and the waiter/waitress never handled it as smoothly as he did! Thank you so much for such a great experience, hopefully he gets the recognition he deserves. Sorry I can’t remember his name but he had dark hair and I think glasses.”

“Went through the drive through in September 2019. They were very accommodating with my meal choice. They do promote that they are a "Fresh" cafe and I had a nice chat with the drive through girl who was also the manager (I believe). Very nice person. My sandwich was tasty and beverage fine. I would go back if passing that way again.”

“Service was excellent and our waitress was really nice And helpful. Best Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer out there. Huge pieces of cauliflower and didn't skimp on the Buffalo. Had a Angus burger with custom toppings and it was fantastic. I also recommend the beer batter french fries. Draft beer was a bit warmer than I'd like but other than that, would recommend. Edit. “Real Taiwanese food, excellent tea, a hidden gem in downtown Brantford. I've been here 4 times, and I'm ready to give this 5 stars. It's a RESTAURANT: If you like "Chinese food," you need to try this place, which is a restaurant, not just a tea house. Taiwan is a "foodie" destination in Asia, and super popular with Chinese tourists for this reason. Lucky for us, this place is run by super-friendly Taiwanese people who make authentic Taiwanese dishes, and they instantly remind me of exactly the same dishes in the many times I've traveled to Taiwan. DISHES TO TRY: Try the "minced pork on rice", or even better, the "Taiwanese sausage and minced pork on rice." Taiwanese sausage is super lean (not like typical fatty "sausage"), and it comes with lean minced pork and tasty vegetables on white rice in a bowl. Ask the owners (who are serving and cooking, so they care about their restaurant) what's good, and they'll help you find what you're looking for. SCHEDULE: This place tends to be open only on weekdays and weekday early evenings, so this is a good place for a simple dinner downtown Monday-Thursday. They open until 8pm Mon-Thurs., and close 5:30pm on Fri and Sat, closed Sundays. CASH ONLY: Like many Asian restaurants, this place is cash-only because they have reasonable prices and don't want to give part of their revenue to a bank. Fair enough. Bring $40 and two people can have entrees and teas with money to spare.”
