Great service, okay food

Convenient place to get a snack for the beach. But as you're heading back with your food, remember, the seagulls are watching you.

Awesome fries.. Fresh hot and seasoned perfectly with salt.

A little pricey, but you can't get food anywhere closer on the beach. Hot fries at the beach from the crowd in was a staple of my childhood vacations up here. Had some.of the classic cut last week and their still as good as ever - with a little ketchup salt and malt of course!

We only had funnel cake so I can't comment on any other food there but I must say I was rather disappointed with it.
The funnel cake itself was something around $4 or $5 then all toppings were extra, which I've never experienced at when purchasing funnel cake but I understood that's simply their pricing and purchased one with ice cream and strawberry topping.

What got me was the quantity and quality of the strawberry topping itself. I believe it cost about $3.25 or $3.50 and it was just a small scoop of strawberry topping, not even an actual chunk of strawberry in it. For that price I would expect it would have expected a bit more.

I will give 3 stars because it wasn't the worst experience ever but I certainly thought it was overpriced. Service was ok, it wouldn't have hurt to get a smile or at least a greeting from the girl at the counter but it seems that's just the way it is.
